Another handheld pocket PC: A leaked image of what could be a Dell phone

Dell company, which is currently selling laptops and desktop computers, is close to launching its first smartphone. And the website Engadget.com has just published a very bad-quality image of what could be this new gadget that is creating expectations because it would be the first device in the smartphone industry launched by Dell.

At this time, there are not confirmed specifications of the new mobile phone, but one thing that is known for sure is that it will be based on the Android mobile operating system, which is being increasingly used as a mobile platform.

The picture comes from China and it is expected that in a few days Dell will confirm the authenticity of the image and give more information about this mobile which is supposed to be the first Dell smartphone.

As it is known, Android is an operating system based on GNU/Linux and it was created especially for mobile devices different to computers, although some companies like HP (or Acer) are considering to use the platform Android on its netbooks.
